FOR TODAY: March 15, 2010
You can find the more daybooks at Simple Woman's Daybook.
Outside my window...Tops of Trees, and Mckenna Chaple. but the interesting thing is actually just across the room. the J. wesley bust from the play had taken up residence in the library and he is just so cool.
I am thinking...How much it sucks that the library catalog has gone of line and now it appears that we are not going to be able to check in and out manually, and it is happening now because the college is on spring break. stupid college.
I am thankful for... my diet ending yesterday! (celebrated by having pad tie after church with friends)
From the kitchen...the last thing i cooked that was really good was something called savory chicken soup. it is chicken with tomatoes and several Mexican spices, now that i am off my diet I'm planing on adjusting the recipe to make it more of a chicken tortilla soup with onion, cheese and those little chip things.
I am wearing...orange and chocolate brown. brown pants and an orange tee with a brown over shirt vest/hoodie over it.
I am creating...I still need to finish work on my brown bag it is almost done, if i still need something to work on at DND then i will work on my pair of pedicure soaks.
I am going...Daniel and Jennette's to play DND tonight!
I am reading...The Pilgrim's Regress by CS Lewis, the Silmarillion by Tolkien, and Something Wicked This Way Comes by Rey Bradbury.
I am hoping...To get my Latin done, cause it is due tomorrow and thanks to my two tests i did not have time to do it earlier.
I am hearing...The blast of a nail gun. (we are having some construction here at the library)
Around the house...Mostly study tools, lisa has a paper and I haven't picked up from my take home logic exam.
A few plans for the rest of the week: home work (because the life of a student is very boring) and i am going to a retreat this weekend put on by my church.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...Hair dieing party last satuday
The drum is the pulse of a marching band, everyone is part of a band, they just have to find the right pulse to know whether or not they are marching to the right beat

The Simple Women Daybook 1
FOR TODAY: March 4, 2010
You can find the more daybooks at Simple Woman's Daybook.
Outside my window...I'm at the library and it is very late, every now and then a car drives by, and i think i might be able to see the many lamp posts that decorate the campus.
I am thinking...about how quiet the library is, and how maybe we will lock up on time.
I am thankful for...My room mate, who finds a way to still love me even if i drive her nuts and she is not sure what to do with me.
From the kitchen...I made fish today for the first time ever! (and you know what it wasn't half bad!)
I am wearing...Black shoes, black pants, and a very colorful shirt that looks like some kind of collage over a black long sleeved shirt, and an orange lacy neck less that was given to me by one of the ladies at the church I was a youth pastor at(she made it herself).
I am creating...Today wail I was on my dinner break I started a new project, a brown bag that will look something like a brown paper lunch bag. Here is the pattern. i think it will be fun to have a knitted bag to bring my dinner to work.
I am going...Home soon and then to bed.
I am reading...Something wicked this way comes by Ray Bradbury, the pilgrim's regress by CS Lewis, and the Silmarillion By JRR Tolkien.
I am hoping...That I will get on top of my homework.
I am hearing...a running computer, and the crazy clicking of someone's mouse, the library is so dead even Denise wont come out to play.
Around the house...Text books and note books.
One of my favorite things...Sitting with my boyfriend. (yes i know ewewewewe, but hey it is really nice).
A few plans for the rest of the week: Finish my logic homework...finish my Latin homework...finish my church history reading...so yeah mostly homework.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... this is the view from the top of Mt. Elbert the second tallest mountain in the US. and I climbed it this summer.
