Thanksgiving, nano, and drama.

well, I definetly did not mean to disapear form the bloggesphere this mounth. I did mean not to post on my story blog, but not this blog. so here is my update for the month.

first thanksgiving was great and i hope everyone else had as great a time as i did. i drove up to spend thanksgiving with a friend of mine form bethany, veronica. up in cincy her family made me feel right at home so much that I might as well have been family. veronica showed me around Cincy and we took some great pictures. which i will be posting probably tomarrow. it was great even if the GPS i barrowed desided that it was not going to work on I-64. (silly contraption, perhaps it to was thought up by a bored warlock?)

as for nano, well i have failed once again. I had such hopes, such plans, but do to many unforseeable events it just didn't happen so I end the month with just over 7,000 words. (Much sadness).

on the pluss side i did go to my first writters convention in which i was told i need to find a critic group and a person to proof read my work. that i had some good ideas but needed to have someone else's critical eye look over it. I left feeling validated and encouraged to persue writting even though i was now questioning why I was at Asbury.

that feeling when a way quickly with all the drama that has happened amoung my group of friends here, who are becoming more and more like family all the time. we have been though a lot together the past month.

on another note, gradschool is hard. this is suposed to be fall break. break means time to get lots of work done, and relax. I deffinetly have the getting lots of relaxation, but not much work done. I still haven't gotten my 15 page paper done for Church history, or started on my final case study for christian ethics, or started on my finel paper for Basic Church Doctrine, or my finel paper for Philosophy of religon. and finels start in less then two weeks. EEK! I don't know how i will survive!
