The Simple Women Daybook 1

My friend Liz has been doing this for a wail now and the last couple of times i have thought it would be a neat thing to try. I hat that so far this year I have blogged next to nothing. So I am going to give this Daybook thing a try.

FOR TODAY: March 4, 2010
You can find the more daybooks at Simple Woman's Daybook.

Outside my window...I'm at the library and it is very late, every now and then a car drives by, and i think i might be able to see the many lamp posts that decorate the campus.
I am thinking...about how quiet the library is, and how maybe we will lock up on time.
I am thankful for...My room mate, who finds a way to still love me even if i drive her nuts and she is not sure what to do with me.
From the kitchen...I made fish today for the first time ever! (and you know what it wasn't half bad!)
I am wearing...Black shoes, black pants, and a very colorful shirt that looks like some kind of collage over a black long sleeved shirt, and an orange lacy neck less that was given to me by one of the ladies at the church I was a youth pastor at(she made it herself).
I am creating...Today wail I was on my dinner break I started a new project, a brown bag that will look something like a brown paper lunch bag. Here is the pattern. i think it will be fun to have a knitted bag to bring my dinner to work.
I am going...Home soon and then to bed.
I am reading...Something wicked this way comes by Ray Bradbury, the pilgrim's regress by CS Lewis, and the Silmarillion By JRR Tolkien.
I am hoping...That I will get on top of my homework.
I am hearing...a running computer, and the crazy clicking of someone's mouse, the library is so dead even Denise wont come out to play.
Around the house...Text books and note books.
One of my favorite things...Sitting with my boyfriend. (yes i know ewewewewe, but hey it is really nice).
A few plans for the rest of the week: Finish my logic homework...finish my Latin homework...finish my church history reading...so yeah mostly homework.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... this is the view from the top of Mt. Elbert the second tallest mountain in the US. and I climbed it this summer.

I was going to comment earlier and then got distracted. Thank you for the link/reference. I find Daybooks a great way to focus the week, encourage me to write, and just plain fun. I love that you did a Daybook post and I loved reading it. Thank you for sharing Monday thoughts with us. I cooked fish for the first time this past Monday it was good too. I love the knit brown bag, it’s getting added to my project list. And that is an awesome picture.

You are welcome. I found the day book to be something nice to do while i was having a very long and dull day at the library. I am almost done with the brown bag and So far i like it.
